Course: Blood Covenant

Course Description
This course will examine God’s covenant relationship with man. The student will understand God’s need to establish a covenant with His chosen people and will examine God’s mode of operation within the agreement. The highest of all covenants, the blood covenant, will be studied in all its various facets and implications.

Course: Biblical Counseling

Course Description
Effective Biblical Counseling presents a model of counseling that can be gracefully integrated into the functioning of the local church. Biblical counseling is simply a relationship between people who care and that its goal is to free people to better worship and serve God. The course will show you how to help people achieve obedience and character growth in their lives and establish a sense of personal worth and security along the way.

Course: Exploring Romans
Thursday Class – 16 Weeks
Dates: January 16, 2025 – May 9, 2025

Course Description
The primary purpose of this course is to trace the theme of God’s Gospel as presented in the Book of Romans, emphasizing the specific aspect of His revealed righteousness. The course also examines Paul’s presentation of God’s provision of righteousness for all people.

Independent Study
Course: Pastoral Care and Counseling
Dates: January 13, 2025 – May 5, 2025
Course Description
Although both pastoral care and counseling provide people with emotional support, there is a difference between the two. Pastoral care can be defined as the services that are performed by a pastor. In Christianity, the pastor is viewed as a shepherd who guides the people of all walks of life. Pastoral care refers to the services that are performed by a pastor.
On the other hand, Counseling is a process in which a counselor guides the counselee for him to find solutions to a problem that he is facing.
Pastoral care and counseling is simply Pastors caring for others in a manner which mirrors the way Jesus cared for people and taught his disciples to do the same.

Independent Study
Course: Bible Study Methods

Course Description
The students are to learn basic principles of biblical interpretation, and gain skill in the use of other methods and tools for Bible study. They are to learn how to get an overview of any book of the Bible, how to make observations and ask interpretative questions, how to distinguish between figurative and literal language, how to outline passages, and how to make applications from biblical principles.
